In Place of the articles by Father Rick Malloy, S. J., I shall give a few
quotes from the various Social Documents from the Church's Teaching. Rick
was very interested in this area as he was working at Holy Name Parish
in Camden, New Jersey, the poorest city in the U. S. A. when he came to
complete his Tertianship, the last year of formation within the Society
of Jesus, at Pymble, Australia. The following year he returned to Australia
to give a course to the Tertians of that year on the Social Teachings of
the Church.
